Go beyond regular volunteering and become a project leader for a Signature Project. Signature Projects are long-term volunteer projects at non-profits that usually take place 1-4 times per month for a minimum of 6 months and activate anywhere from 5 – 200 volunteers.
L.A. Works’ Pro Bono and Skilled Volunteering Program is an exciting way to unite skilled professionals with local nonprofits to make good things happen in LA and beyond. We help organizations express their needs and wants as thoroughly defined and scoped projects, and connect them with volunteers who want to offer their professional skills.
RSVP offers volunteer opportunities uniquely designed to tap into the experience, skills, and wisdom that those age 55 and over bring. Opportunities range from one day events to ongoing monthly programs.
Training volunteers. This includes studying the training material, disseminating the material to volunteers in a “public forum” format, and ensuring the volunteers understand the material.
Coordinate training sessions at satellite locations. This includes selecting a location, reserving the location, obtaining a trainer, advertising the session, and delivering the meeting minutes.

Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, phone calls, scheduling, and filing. Depending on the site you may: help PATH’s career center guests by fielding questions and providing assistance in the computer lab, work the front desk and greet guests, or support PATH’s Development department in hosting events.
PATH Cooks provides home cooked meals to the residents living in PATH’s interim housing facilities. Plan a menu, buy the food, and prepare a “home-cooked” meal in the kitchen of one of our housing facilities with up to 6 of your family members, co-workers, or friends
