A Welcome Caller acquaints new wish families with the Make-A-Wish mission, impact and wish granting process. Welcome Callers facilitate 30-45 minute phone orientations with all legal guardians in a distraction-free environment.
Volunteer trainers help acclimate new volunteers to the Make-A-Wish organization and the various volunteer roles within Make-A-Wish. They thoroughly prepare volunteers for the work they’ll be doing so they can confidently move forward with their roles.
Wish story writers use their creative writing skills to put the impact of a wish into words. Wish Designers work with a Wish Coordinator on staff to plan, create, and host Wish Reveals. Wish Designers may also assist staff with local Wishes such as shopping sprees, room makeovers, etc. You will be partnered with another Wish Designer for each Wish Reveal or Local Wish experience.

Volunteers assist our staff with treating the medical needs of seniors while offering a wide range of therapeutic programs that maximize the patient’s function and help them strive for independence.
