Help us to restore native habitats at Bolsa Chica by removing invasive plant species and installing native plants. Restoration volunteers will get a chance to clean up our wetlands with trash pick-ups and even occasional kayak clean-ups. Restoration volunteers may also help with growing native plants and educating the public.

Exhibits Committee volunteers are grandparents, parents and community members who create and build custom exhibits unique to KidZone Museum. The hand crafted exhibits are filled with play that helps a child’s social, physical, cognitive and creative development.

Committee members are expected to attend monthly meetings and take on tasks outside of meetings. Committee members can expect to commit a minimum of 18-24 hours over the course of 6-12 months depending on the committee. Committees include: Economic Vitality Committee, Promotions & Marketing Committee, Community Design Committee, and the Events Committee.

Anyone, 18 years old or older, who cares about the homeless population in South Lake Tahoe can volunteer at the Warm Room.
