Volunteers assist in many areas such as front desk reception, mailing/post assistance, special event support, exhibitions, marketing, fundraising, performance support, and event hosting.

Our volunteers assist us with beach clean ups, water quality monitoring testing and by serving as ambassadors at our kiosk on MacMillan Wharf (seasonally) and at our Spinnaker Exhibit, located in our Hiebert Marine Lab.

Assist in the Book Loft where we collect, sort, price and pack books for the sale. We consider our Book Loft volunteers our “staff” and we seek their input as we have found that collecting the books (and the sale) is always a “work in progress.” We are open for volunteers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays…

You can help us no matter what your skill level. Some of the places we always need help are in the office, helping with the collections or gardening up at Glen Magna Farms. You can check our events page for particular events that need volunteers.

Support the Trail, support the work. There are many ways to volunteer for the North Country Trail Association and its Chapters, from building and maintaining to outreach and advocacy. No matter your skills or interests, we have an opportunity for you.

CAT needs volunteers to help us find applicable grant opportunities as well as Grant Writers to manage the application processes.
