We have volunteer opportunities for every skill level, ranging from getting out on the ground and pulling fence, picking up trash, naturalizing old roads, planting seedlings, monitoring wilderness, and yanking invasive plants.

Volunteer to represent Friends of Nevada Wilderness at outreach events in your community, or volunteer to help us around the office!

During volunteer nights, volunteers help us maintain our space by sorting donations, building bikes for our Youth Give-a-Way program, cleaning the space and general upkeep of our warehouse. General Volunteers work in the shop on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5-8pm.

Volunteer youth instructors work with youth during our Youth Earn-a-Bike or Youth Ride Club program. Volunteer Youth Instructors are required to get a central registry clearance through the Department of Human Services and have a separate orientation to attend.

Paddle along with RCA’s River Stewards to help with cleanup and outreach efforts or adopt a section of the river. Visually inspect the river, remove trash, record wildlife sightings, and share information with river users.
