UCP of Berkshire County has exciting volunteer opportunities for individuals of all ages: from school-age students to adults.
Our hospitality team are the essential hosts during our productions! Being on this subcommittee will include asks to drive actors and production team members to and from our theatres to train or bus stations, offering housing during productions, and making meals for our volunteer led tech dinners.
We offer a variety of programs throughout the year. Volunteers help with publicity and, on the day of the program, greet visitors; set up and break down chairs and equipment; arrange for refreshments; and, when applicable, assist with book sales for author events.

The Bidwell House gardens are cared for by a head gardener, but we could always use help with weeding, pruning, etc. All levels of gardening expertise are welcome. This is a great opportunity for the novice gardener to gain experience and knowledge. Garden work takes place from April through October.

We’re always looking for hospitality volunteers and others to help at our events — ticket taker/greeters, parking lot guides, cleanup help. We also need a few people adept at or willing to learn the technical end of operating sound and lights.
Volunteers assist with projects of interest to them and may serve on sub-committees but are not required to attend committee meetings; new volunteers may be recruited and added as volunteers by any committee member.
