Help children build self-esteem, develop appropriate social behaviors and learn academic skills. Also, plan creative activities, play and work on arts and crafts projects.
Help organize files, make copies, complete mailings and answer incoming calls.
Deliver more than 200 meals a day to disabled people and elderly citizens.
Clean facilities and help with minor maintenance and beautification projects.
Stock and organize donated food items and help fill grocery orders.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance, paint, garden, create puppet displays, etc.
Help prepare and serve lunch to the homeless and others in need.
As you can imagine, each off season the camp needs help and much of that help comes from corporations. Many choose to give employees a “Service Day” so they can get their hands dirty for a good cause.
