The HSMC Administration office is located in the Thrift Store, so you can help with office work! Work includes addressing and sending mailing, sorting, making copies, and other office work.
Volunteers may also assist with office work, building and grounds upkeep, and making prizes for children.
Give of your time by volunteering to teach or help in a club, serve on a board or committee, or host a club.
When the need arises, 1-2 helpers or a small group or class can help clients move or clean up a room. Sometimes this help is needed during week days. If you have a truck, that can be helpful too.
We will need volunteers for our annual artwalk as docents and throughout the year to help with fundraisers, artist events, artist relations, administrative support and research. Adults 18+ are needed to help on both one-time and occasional ongoing basis depending on our programming. Must be a people person. Art installers are always needed.
We have some clients that have regular appointments or need someone to run them to the grocery store. These are fun clients and you will enjoy them. They would be SO appreciative of your help.
Have an eye for working with websites, or newsletters or brochures? We can use your help updating informational materials. Are you skilled in video? We’d like to create a new informational video.
We occasionally have questions about filing taxes for our clients. Would you be willing to be a resource for us when we have questions?
We are always looking for volunteers to help with carpentry, mechanics, painting, electrical, landscaping, etc.
