Wags and Walks visits high kill shelters in and around Los Angeles multiple times a week. One-Time Volunteer – an individual or a group providing support for an APCH project, event or initiative — great for corporate groups, school groups, families, faith communities, social clubs and more.
A BIG part of AMIGOS ability to create green space in our communities is Volunteer groups! They bring their muscle to help us plant trees, shrubs, mulch and provide clean up to keep our parks looking their best!
Other AMIGOS Volunteer opportunities include: administrative/office/marketing support, grant writing, park greening events, and special events.
Volunteers help with mulching, planting, weeding, cleaning up. Students! receive your community service credits – bring the appropriate paperwork and our Volunteer Stewardship Event Manager will sign it when the event is over.

Help with tutoring, school homework, basic computer training, budgeting skills, arts & crafts, yoga and exercise, self-care groups, therapy, organizational skills, etc.
