There are various 1:1 and small group (10-20) volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Activities are usually held during the program hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Some examples include small group tutoring, conversations with ESOL students to practice English skills, mock interviews, leading or assisting with social development groups, and more.

Teach an evening workshop to women living at our Family Shelter. Topics could include cooking, sewing, jewelry making, knitting, art, etc. Mondays & Tuesdays from 6:30PM-8:00PM Includes group opportunities

Prepare and share a group dinner at our Family Shelter or Monthly Women’s Gathering.

Supply and assemble “Life Tool Kits” of living and educational supplies for Project Hope program participants.

Organize drives of toys, school supplies, professional clothing or warm items to distribute to our program participants.

Participate in mock interviews to help our Workforce Development students enhance their interview skills. Groups/Corporate teams can Host our job training program students at your workplace for a morning to learn about your company and industry.
