The grub club is simple: pick up the food before the program, set up lunch during the program, and serve it to all the awesome kids. It may seem like a small task but lunch is a vital part of the program.

Consider becoming a Blanketeer. We accept handmade quilts, knitted and crocheted afghans, and no-sew fleece.

The food pantry distributes food on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. as well as on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Volunteer responsibilities are to help distribute food items to clients, helping them get items to their cars, and helping to clean up when pantry distribution is over.…

A great number of items are donated to New Horizons on a daily basis. Volunteers are needed to sort, put away and put together bags of food for distribution to the families and individuals who rely upon the food pantry. Various hours during the week are available.

Help us get up-to-date information about NHSPCA news and events to the public by distributing flyers, posters and newsletters to local veterinarians and businesses in the community.

At least twice a year we have grounds clean-up and planting projects both on-site and at Rolling Meadows, the NHSPCA Pet Cemetery. If you love to get outside and get your hands dirty – this could be the volunteer opportunity for you.

Are you a person with MS or do you have a connection to the disease? Do you have professional expertise in the area of law, medicine, disability, fundraising, policy, or community organizing? Volunteer at MS walks, bike rides, and other fundraising events. Volunteers will help us set up, help with registration, greeting, rest stops, break down, etc.

Assist in our thrift shop. From sorting clothes and household goods, or doing landscaping work, there are many ways to help.
