Assist our main office with daily administrative tasks. This may include greeting visitors, preparing materials for events, helping with research projects, and contributing to an overall positive environment. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in an office setting with some amazing people.

Housing Families hosts and participates in many fundraising and outreach events in the community every year. Volunteers are a big part of the success of these events. This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic but can’t make a long term commitment.

Host a part at one of our family shelters. The host will provide snacks, dinner, dessert, activities, and small goodie bags for the children living in the shelter (about 10 children).

Shop for and furnish a client’s new home, then welcome them at the end of the day and hand over their keys – the moment their homelessness ends.

Our Heading Home facilities team is dedicated to helping our clients stay comfortable in their temporary or permanent homes. Help plant flowers, build a raised garden bed, or help us rake and decorate.

Hospital Clowns enter a hospital environment and use improvisation, magic and joy to transform the child’s world into a space of play and imagination. Within moments, clowns can bring a child from a sense of helplessness into empowerment. Each of our volunteer clowns must undergo 90 hours of training, workshops and supervised visits in order…

Our young professionals serve through social media efforts, obtaining donated items for fundraising auctions, and participating in ICycle.

Assist throughout the year with Welcome Home Baskets, the Homeless Census Team, Homeless Placement Event Support, iCycle Rider or Event Support, Client Holiday Celebration, or as a Fundraising Event Volunteer.
