CDSC’s roster of pro bono Mediators is comprised of over 65 volunteers who all donate their time and expertise as mediators. Community Service opportunities are available for scouts, sports teams, or other youth groups. Youth actively participate in hands-on activities to learn about families in need.

Adults, teens (13-17), and children (8-12, accompanied by adult) are needed to sort and package donations of clothes, toys, and baby equipment. We have two locations to choose from: Boxford (clothes and baby equipment) on the 1st Saturday of each month or Middleton (toys) on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Spend time with your colleagues and friends making a difference. Assist with Bundles of Kindness, Twice Loved Toys, or Select Saturdays. Evening opportunities are available by appointment.

VolunTEENs sort and package clothing donations, help with building maintenance, assist social service representatives, and prepare toys for Twice Loved Toy sales. Tweens (ages 11-14) are welcome to volunteer but have to be accompanied by an adult.

Throughout the week, generous members of our community bring their new and gently used donations to our Dracut Distribution Center. Volunteers help sort through the many bags and boxes we receive, looking for any stains, rips, inappropriate messaging or style, and out-of-style clothing. Volunteers may also be asked to fold or hang items once processed.
