Is there something you would like to teach? Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be super formal nor do you need to be a complete expert. Workshops can range from Origami, Calligraphy, Cooking, Dance, Art, Piano, Sewing, etc. If you’re willing to teach it, we’ll help secure facilities.
Help by tightening shower heads, leaky faucets and doing other minor plumbing repairs, changing burned out light bulbs and doing other minor electrical repairs.
Volunteer in L.A. to help with fitness, arts and crafts, teach ESL, or other activities for adults and active seniors at our community center for The Exchange at El Monte.
Each quarter, Jamboree looks for companies and their staff to package and deliver donations directly to our residents. Help us provide: Cleaning Care Buckets, Summer Personal Hygiene Kits, Fall Back-to-School Backpacks, and Veteran Gift Bags.
If you’re a high school or college student, you can earn community service hours when you volunteer with us during the summer or whenever you’re home on a break. Or, find a location near your school where you can help create healthy communities.
Help create visual content to create awareness of our organization. Also work on other projects to share Korean heritage.
Teach a career workshop. Or work with individual Mission residents on financial planning, writing résumés, holding mock job interviews and more.
Enjoy teaching? We’d enjoy hearing from you! We’re always in need of enthusiastic teachers for our life-skills classes, financial education classes and small group Bible studies.
Serve at our women and children’s shelter through after school programs, Bible studies, dinner service and more.
Help support the families of the House by soliciting items that we are constantly in need of around the House. Imagine all the household items around your house, we need that times 20!
