Help us to restore native habitats at Bolsa Chica by removing invasive plant species and installing native plants. Restoration volunteers will get a chance to clean up our wetlands with trash pick-ups and even occasional kayak clean-ups. We need volunteer experts to help us with special learning initiatives. We can not fill all the expertise we need within our small staff so we welcome experts in our community to share their knowledge with children and make the museum a strong learning experience.
We need someone who loves to garden and create learning areas in our garden for children such as composting, a bee and butterfly flower bed and all sort of fun learning opportunities. We need someone (or two folks) all summer long and you can create your own schedule.
Our classes need supplies, volunteers help locate these supplies.
Serve alongside us in our local Cincinnati communities as we serve vulnerable children living in poverty or suffering from homelessness. We lead volunteer groups to go into communities or shelters on a regular basis to serve a meal, fill a practical need, play games and activities with the children, all while building sustained relationships.
Volunteers help staff at events with setting up and taking down of booths. Or they may assist during the sale with sharing the mission and artisan stories.
