Lack of information/misinformation about how Alzheimer’s disease affects a person pose a major barrier to families getting help. We need volunteers to help educate audiences at senior centers, community organizations, clubs, congregations, schools and more. Audiences range from 20 – 50 people. Topics include our programs and services, the disease and caregiving.
Throughout the year we call on our general volunteers to assist with presentations and fundraising events such as our yearly Gala, Visionary Women’s Luncheon and Walks.
