Help maintain our gardens and grounds by watering, weeding, and harvesting.
Help with routine activities such as mowing trails, equipment maintenance, brush removal, invasive plant control and general clean up. They also manage structural repairs to the barns, farmhouse and construction projects.
Help develop, facilitate or organize outdoor programs and events for all ages to have fun learning and playing outside! Areas of focus include: environmental science, outdoor recreation, history and fine arts.
The agriculture team manages the community garden, the plant rescue project and the acres of hops. Work is on site seasonally helping with general garden activities, plant propagation, harvesting fresh produce and tending to the hops.
Build financial stability for families by helping them prepare and file their taxes at one of our free tax sites. Volunteers will receive training to meet one-on-one with families and file their return using tax software. Individuals can help on their own, or groups can adopt a tax site and volunteer together.
Volunteers play a key role in the execution of these opportunities, assisting with everything from food service to gallery prep.
Volunteers have the opportunity to collaborate with artists through their art-making process, building meaningful relationships and creative skills along the way.
Ushers will prepare the theatre seating areas, prepare programs, pass out programs, and assist with post-show cleanup.
Help ensure each and every guest has an unforgettable concert experience at all CSO, Pops, and May Festival performances by greeting, directing to specific locations, and assisting in the gift shop.
