Citizen Scientists help to gather information and track changes that are happening in our environment. The Leelanau Conservancy will provide training on species identification and data collection. Monitoring can be done individually or we can pair volunteers up to work together!

Taking a hike with our wonderful, knowledgeable docents is a great way to get to know our natural areas. Annually, they lead over 500 people on hikes in all four seasons.

Our Coat Check attendant is a seasonal position. This volunteer ensures that patrons have a place to “hang their hat” and manages the coat check tags for our patrons personal belongings.

Volunteers are regularly needed to assist with special events, receptions, and technical lunches.

With a building as large as the Civic, there are a number of odd jobs for every skill level. Help is needed with general cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of the theatre. Daytime hours are typically required.
