Having great photos is amazing and helps us really show off our cute canines and felines. If you have a camera or can take good photos with your phone, we’d love to get your pics!

Volunteering at CCHS is easy! Typically, volunteers come in during our open hours and play with cats or walk dogs (dog walking ends 1/2 hour before we close). Many hands make light work. Our development director is always seeking volunteers to assist with carrying out the details of planning and implementing our events. This opportunity perfect for creative individuals and/or those for whom its fun to generate excitement and enthusiasm in others.

House and Yard Upkeep: Repairs, painting, window washing, etc.

House Operations: Run errands and grocery shop. Meals: Cook a meal or provide snacks for guests. Stock Pantry: Purchase, or organize a household drive to collect, wish list items such as coffee, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper products, etc.

For folks who are looking to serve with a group or organization, a Helping Hands Service Day is wonderful way to lend a hand. From yard work to spring cleaning, teams of 10 or less work together for 2 hours to get the job done.
