Workshops are an opportunity to help our youth understand the value of various professional skills and how those skills are utilized in the working world.

OA trips provide an opportunity for volunteers to connect with youth on a personal level while participating in activities such as skiing, snowshoeing, rock-climbing, kayaking, biking, and more.

Work on the major fundraising events helping with in-office administrative tasks and general fundraising. Day of event tasks include greeting and registering guests, selling raffle tickets, helping with event set up and break down.

Volunteer Groups make a sponsorship donation to underwrite food costs on the day that they prepare and serve the meal. Groups of 4­-6 volunteers work in the kitchen and prepare hundreds of meals under the direction of Chef Sherry. Help out as a group by painting, performing yard work and other ‘spruce up’ projects at our various site locations including Lawrence, Haverhill, Lynn, and Camp Y-Wood in Salem, NH.

Windrush Farm is a 38-acre working farm, with access to miles of trails. We always have something do on the property! We welcome groups to help with a wide variety of projects including: painting, cleaning, washing, fence mending, clearing trails, building new pathways, weeding ans mulching.

Corporate, small business and community/religious group opportunities can engage in farm work April through October. Group volunteer opportunities are designed for 6-18 people. A tax-deductible contribution is requested. This contribution helps defray the costs associated with organizing, leading, and educating groups, ensuring our ability to offer meaningful service learning experiences.

There are also opportunities for junior volunteers between the ages of 14-18. These special volunteers assist in Webster at Rye’s intergenerational programs. They may help residents hand out treats to children at Halloween, assist in a weekly bowling game or teach someone how to use the computer.
