Enjoy the hustle and bustle of loads of people? Assist us with Special Events by prepping behind the scenes, or be on the forefront greeting others, running a program, or other jobs that pop up at larger events and programs.

Additional opportunities to volunteer at the Yankee Air Museum include: interviewers for oral history, museum special events support, administrative volunteers, air show volunteers, security, museum ambassadors, restoration projects, and building maintenance.

Ambassadors are the lifeblood of the festival. It is our ambassadors that make every moment magical for our guests. They fill a wide range of roles including servers, assisting with events, clean up, ushers, registration, working the welcome center, and more.

A Volunteer Team is any group of four or more individuals from local companies, civic/service groups, churches, and clubs (just to name a few) that wish to volunteer together. It’s a fun way to build relationships within your organization and the community.

A Community Share Group is group of five or more participants from a non-profit organization. These groups are assigned to specific volunteer shifts and in return for their hard work, the Festival provides the 501c3 organization with a donation based on the number of people volunteering and the total hours worked.
