Interns in Kenya work primarily in rural settings and provide support to the community and its leaders. The interns also learn about the rich cultures of Kenya while sharing their own gifts, experiences, and insights. SOTENI’s goal is to enable interns to be AIDS-prevention advocates in both Kenya and their home countries.

You will be asked to help with various tasks such as set-up, clean-up, handing out information, serving food, signing people in, or directing people to where they need to be.

Interact with guests, provide general information about the facility and the show, monitor/guard doors, and catch butterflies. We’re seeking both morning and afternoon volunteers.

Walk For Wishes is a nationwide Make-A-Wish® fundraiser that celebrates the more than 285,000 wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. Volunteers will help with registration, directing on the route, food and drink.

We are always in need of more fosters. Since we don’t have a physical shelter, we rely on foster homes to house our adoptable animals.

Our Professional Volunteer Program is designed for any adult interested in helping out developing countries. Past professionals have included doctors, engineers, accountants, researchers, teachers, and architects.

Help clean the shelter by sweeping and mopping the floors, scooping litter boxes, cleaning cages, washing food and water bowls as well as toys.

Help with bed preparation for planting seeds, flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Also assist in occasional weeding and harvesting tasks as needed.
