Tutoring is a very important part of St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center’s literacy program. We have many retired educators that give their time tutoring our students. We are here to help them strengthen their education and learn the skills needed to go onto college, received their GED and live a productive life.
•Welcome and check-in donors •Explain the donation process and answer any questions •Manage donor flow •Provide courteous communication and assistance to donors and staff •Assist with set up and help maintain cleanliness in Reception and Canteen/Hospitality areas •Report possible adverse post-donation, physical reactions to staff
A.S.K. provides lifelong refuge, health care, rehabilitation, enrichment and love to previously neglected chained dogs on 100 rural acres and through foster homes. If you don’t have a dog, or have the ability to keep your family companions separate, you may be able to help us through fostering!

Our Program for Refugee Learners (PRL) is an online class for newly resettled refugees who speak English at a beginner level, and who also need additional literacy support as an introduction to the American alphabet. Volunteers co-teach an online class once per week for 12 weeks, using a proven curriculum.
