During the regular school year (We follow Dayton Public Schools’ schedule), NBFY offers an after-school enrichment program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Volunteer can fill various Special Event roles, ranging from day-of event setup, guest assistance, raffle ticket sales, and event tear-down. Volunteer may also choose to be involved in pre-event logistics.

Opportunities include: General Hospital Volunteering, Hospice, Parenting, Spiritual Care, Community / Off-Campus Volunteering, Center for Exceptional Families, Patient & Family Centered Care, and Advanced Care Planning.

Our youth mentoring programs that prepare youth of color to succeed in school, work and life. In addition to one on one mentoring, Life Skills are taught by volunteer mentors in small group settings in schools, at Park Place, on field trips, and during basketball practice sessions for the HP Junior Parkers.
