Answer phones, take ticket orders, help with mailings, data entry, filing
Ticket scanning is just the start for the coveted usher role. Set your own pace, open doors for those you can to give an old-fashioned experience not seen much anymore! Cleaning will BLOW you away.
Take it nice and simple, filling fountain drinks for our patrons. Or take the next step and become a master popcorn popper! Either way, no transaction is fully efficient without our concessions volunteers!
Do you love a great show? Usher or help in the box office before our performing arts series events.
Do you love customer service? Our front desk welcomes guests, answers questions, assists in the galleries, and answers phones. Set your own schedule! Weekly volunteers are always needed.
We’re always looking for a few good hands to help around the office. Project by project, monthly or weekly. Duties might include mailings, data entry, phone answering, class sign-up, receptionist, proof-reading, or poster/flyer distribution.
Want to learn more? Have an interest in art? Want to get your hands in the “art”? These volunteers may assist with adult or children’s classes, help out at Thoreson Farm, act as a docent for various exhibits, help out in the gallery, or serve on a committee.
Assist the shelter by helping plan or coordinate fundraising efforts. Or spread the word in the community by assisting with marketing.
Fostering cats in your home. If you can provide a wonderful, temporary home for cats and kittens, FCS also uses foster homes for cats.
