Our house parents work diligently to provide a safe, learning environment for these youth. However, they need a chance to recharge and rest. By volunteering for a respite night or weekends, you allow them to do just that.

Adults 55 and older work with students 1-on-1 in schools or child care centers to help them reach educational goals. Foster Grandparents receive benefits including recognition, a meal each workday, transportation, and more! Must work a minimum of 5 hours per week.

Are you more of a hands on person, not afraid to get dirty? LifeWorks transitional homes are always in need of a little sprucing up. Fresh paint, some fresh flowers out front, new lighting and carpet are some of the jobs we are looking to find hands on volunteers for!

A lot of our youth coming into LifeWorks have not yet had the opportunity to take the driver’s education course to obtain their driving license. Therefore having transportation available to them for work, appointments and volunteering is very important.
