Help organize and implement fundraisers for the clinic.
Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians volunteer to fill and dispense medications during evening clinic hours at our licensed, onsite pharmacy on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6–8:30.
Psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and social workers may volunteer to provide mental health assessments, counseling, and medication management for Free Clinic medical patients during evening clinic hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5–8 p.m.
Office work volunteers enjoy copying, compiling, organizing, data entry, document shredding, training prep, or answering the phone.
Assist with sorting food in our warehouse. Food sorting opportunities are limited to 8 volunteers per shift, and available during the day Monday through Friday, 9 to 11:30 am and 1:30 to 3:30 pm. At this time, all volunteers should be ages 14 years and older.
Schedule BGP presentations with area organizations and businesses, coordinate with trained speakers, perform follow-up, track and report results. Involves phone calling, emailing, and computer work.
Periodically staff the BGP table at local events and venues to create awareness about and support of the garden project by talking it up, disseminating literature, encouraging sign-ups for newsletters and donations to help build the garden, and reporting back results. Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers keep rehearsals and shows running smoothly, manage calendars and schedules, and coordinate communication between the director, designers, and other members of the production team.
