During the summer months we need volunteers to pick up produce from the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays around 12:45 pm. We also need volunteers on Monday mornings to divide up the produce and deliver it to various agencies.
Our current initiative is the wood sustainability program. Help prepare wood for reuse into functional furniture items/home goods. Tasks include making wooden pens, building/assembling furniture items, and maintaining/organizing woodshop space. Knowledge of woodworking machinery required.
Ushers provide a valuable service to A2SF by helping to ensure the comfort and safety of our patrons at ticketed performances. Responsibilities include greeting patrons, taking tickets, handing out programs, assisting patrons with finding their seats, and giving directions.
Greeters serve as the first line welcome for visitors entering the festival grounds. In 2018, we made a commitment to become a zero waste event. Implementing new three-stream waste stations requires guidance from individuals like you. We need volunteers to guide patrons when tossing out their compost, recycling, and landfill items. Both individuals and teams are welcome!
