L.A. Works’ Pro Bono and Skilled Volunteering Program is an exciting way to unite skilled professionals with local nonprofits to make good things happen in LA and beyond. We help organizations express their needs and wants as thoroughly defined and scoped projects, and connect them with volunteers who want to offer their professional skills.

Depending on the site you may: help PATH’s career center guests by fielding questions and providing assistance in the computer lab, work the front desk and greet guests, or support PATH’s Development department in hosting events.

Support your children in their school’s community service requirement. Young people (ages 12 – 15) may tutor with an adult family member or guardian.
If you are 16 to 18 years of age, and need to complete community service hours in order to graduate, become a peer tutor.
Studio volunteers work alongside teaching artists to support K-12 students as they explore their own creativity in one of our seven studios: Visual Arts, Ceramics, Creativity Lab, Media Arts, Drama, Dance, and Music. Rosenthal Theater volunteers are utilized for our on-campus community outreach productions such as The Big Orange Door series, Inner-City Arts Repertory Dance Company performances, Youth Performance Ensemble shows, and more. Theater volunteers support by assisting with event set-up, workshop facilitation, backstage support, and ushering.
