Volunteers and interns are an integral part of Helping Hands, assisting with husbandry, diet, and enrichment care for our monkeys. Volunteers assist with the husbandry needs and diet preparation for our monkeys and do not have the opportunity to handle or train the monkeys.
The Employment Support Program includes weekly Workforce Orientation Workshop and quarterly Mock Interview Day events, and Mock Interview Prep sessions for one-to-one coaching prior to Mock Interview Day events.

Make telephone calls to elders to check on their well-being and relieve loneliness.
Improve the lives of people who are Medicare-eligible by providing information and assistance through direct in person and over the phone counseling at community centers as well as Aging Service Access Points throughout Boston.
Assist with special projects, update databases, copy and file papers, or answer phones at Ethos.
Ethos holds over 20 daily, weekly, and monthly community cafes where local seniors can drop in for a free nutritious meal and some socialization. Volunteers are needed to help set up, serve meals, socialize with seniors, and clean up after the meals.
