Court Support Volunteers work with victims of domestic violence at Family Court to provide support in the courtroom and debrief with them after proceedings. They assist victims as they navigate a complex legal system, as well as provide safety planning and community resources.

Volunteer as a Crisis Advocate for Project Safe 417 (PS 417), a unique partnership between SafeNest and the North West Area Command (NWAC) designed to reduce domestic violence and homicides in our community by providing direct crisis intervention to victims on the scene.
Donations to SJRC are picked up each Tuesday, and we are in need of someone to assist the driver.
With 40 acres, 20 buildings and only two maintenance workers, we need help with the simple stuff like changing air filters, repairing sprinklers and other similar ‘to-do’ items you would normally do on the weekend in your own home.

Drive our 15 passenger van between the House and local hospitals in the morning or afternoon so that our families can spend time with their child. Volunteers must be willing to drive a 15 passenger van and have a clean driving record.
Opportunities to assist with advocacy include accompanying clients in court on general proceedings, protective orders, child custody, divorce, and criminal cases or accompanying clients in mediation sessions.
