Volunteers are always needed for administrative assistance doing such things as: reminder calls, appointment setting, filing, fundraising prep, assisting with the Pantry 4 Paws program and other miscellaneous administrative tasks. Ideal for Adults, Retirees, Seniors and High School students.

We are in need of volunteers in the following areas: Art/Craft Classes, Commodities Distribution, Decorating, Foot Clinic Volunteers, Front Door Greeters, Fundraising- 50/50, Quilt Raffle, Super Books, Handymen or Handywomen, Newsletter Mailing, Transportation Drivers, and Wood Shop Hosts.

The primary task of our volunteers ensures that the needs of the whole are met by the few and dedicated so that collective goals can be achieved with a sense of principled urgency. Additional needs include: Highland Park Campaign Team; and the Polar Bear Sustainable Energy Cooperative.

In addition to our walking shifts, other forms of enrichment are a priority for both our felines and canines. Enrichment hours are scheduled primarily during the afternoons.
