As a volunteer, you’ll come in on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and provide a consistent, caring connection by phone for people living with HIV/AIDS. Each volunteer has a set of clients they develop relationships with over time. You’ll complement our case management services by helping clients work through problems and encouraging their successes.

Boomerangs offer both individual and group volunteer opportunities at our Dedham Distribution Center. Each Monday Acord receives deliveries of milk, cheese, yogurt, and donated items from The Greater Boston Food Bank. Help unload the truck and help restock the pantry.

Acord is open to clients 3 days a week. Each Wednesday morning, Thursday evening and Saturday morning a team of volunteers distributes 3 days worth of food to our families.
