Casa de Vida operates Wanda’s Baby Closet which is stocked with diapers, formula, baby clothes, strollers, car seats and more. These items are free to those in the community who are in need. Volunteer duties include receiving, sorting and stocking donations, light cleaning as needed, and assisting shoppers.
Most of the volunteer opportunities require little or no training. Your local league will provide you with any necessary training (as well as support and encouragement), as they deem necessary. Greet and interact with Museum visitors, distribute parking passes, provide directions and museum information, ring up gift shop sales and museum admissions (handling of money). Lobby Hosts may also be called upon to help the Museum staff with other office duties.
