Guest service volunteers work closely with staff and guest families by helping answer the phone, check in families, give house tours, and perform light housekeeping tasks.
Help students bring their reading, math and science grades up to age and grade appropriateness. (one year committment)
Help teach our entrepreneurship cirriculum.
Help transport to a meeting or appointment, help them learn to cook or another skill, or just be here as a support presence at the home.
Help reach out to schools and rec centers to see if Soup Cycle Cincy is a good match.
Help staff the museum as it expands opening hours. No knowledge of broadcasting or radio is required and volunteer training will be provided.
Volunteers assist with camp activities, like STEM Bicycle Club, Basketball, Swimming (+ opportunity to join Zigler Park Swim Team!), Chess Instruction, Circuit Workouts, Pollinator Garden and so much more!
Do you like reading, and have the desire to help another? This is the perfect opportunity for you! Most tutors will need to attend two 3-hour training sessions at times mutually agreed upon by attendees.
Help provide dinner, either by delivering the already prepared meal, or cooking in the Lydia’s House Kitchen.
Help by answering the door and phone, sorting donations and the mail, light housework, and simply being present.
