Occasionally, we need help with setting up and running lights for concerts and special events, or running films for screenings on the projection system. Opportunities arise only a few times a year, and hands-on training is provided to learn the light board.
Assist designers in shopping for and creating costumes! Sewing skills range from basic to expert. Most work is done in the 4 weeks prior to the opening of each show.
Our Education department is always in need of some administrative help. Specific needs involve data entry work and online research for grant applications. Other administrative and clerical tasks may also be needed.

Most of the exhibits are run with or on computers and they continually need loving care. Improving the automation and presentations keeps the exhibits and experience fresh. Maintaining and improving the installed software to improve efficiency for the staff that spends a good part of the day interfacing with these modern beasts is always welcome.
