Interact with DSO patrons to build relationships, and show recognition and appreciation. This includes: engaging your fellow subscribers with opportunities to socialize around DSO concerts and events; surprising selected patrons at DSO concerts, through interactions and special touches that leave them delighted; and contacting donors by phone to thank them for their support.
Assist DSO staff members with bulk mailings and general office tasks.
Assist the DSO Retail Manager with staffing the Shop @ the Max retail store during concerts and events.
Answer domestic violence Crisis Line during 5:00PM to 8:30AM shifts.
Assist with various office projects.
Provide child care while a parent/caregiver receives services.
Highland Valley Elder Services provides educational trainings for chronic disease self-management, diabetes self-management, Cancer thriving and surviving, and positive self-management programs. Courses are 6 weeks long and the training for leaders is 4 days long. A course curriculum is provided. Assist parents with their children to have safe and nurturing visits.
Work with children ages 0‐5 years old doing age appropriate activities, including reading and arts and crafts to develop their motor skills. Weekdays 6-8pm or Sunday 7-9pm.
Answer phones, direct guests to appropriate departments and programs, admitting guests into building. Weekdays 9am-5pm.
