GC Democracy Coaches (DCs) are much more than college volunteers. DC’s are dedicated and energetic leaders who are committed to extending their learning and influence beyond their college campuses, as they spend a semester or more coaching students in utilizing their own voices to drive civic change.

Generation Citizen’s Student Leadership Board (SLB) is a 10-member team of high schoolers that supports our efforts to learn from our students’ experiences, better support alumni civic leadership development, and elevate student voice in the democracy education field.
