Share your talents and interests with kids at the Club! Help kids with their homework or help out in one of our program areas, like the education center, the arts and crafts room, the teaching kitchen, the teen room, or the Kindergarten room. Club hours are after school until 6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Be a play ambassador at recess! Model games for kids and play actively and learn to create a safe and inclusive environment through play.
Help train our students to be great recess coaches by encouraging leadership on the playground. Build community in our schools by collaborating with these young leaders.
Promote teamwork and sports fundamentals as a referee or assistant coach in developmental sports leagues. Also, help with league planning and execution and support inclusive coaching for youth participants.
The Children’s Program is the most popular volunteer opportunity with our college-aged volunteers, who tutor, mentor, and supervise children ages 4-12.
Detail-oriented individuals are encouraged to help the Thomas House administrative team with mailings, database maintenance, filing, marketing, fund raising, office supplies orders, and more.
