A service-learning program for English Language Learners. Students have the opportunity to explore their community, interact with Salem residents, officials, and popular places. The goal of the program is to aid in language development through experiential learning.
Anyone who has the ability to read and is willing to help another person can be a tutor. A tutor works with a student “one on one”, to help that student learn to read at his/her own pace. New tutors attend a tutor training workshop to learn tutoring techniques.
