Many volunteers work in private homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and York County, Maine as well as at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA. Others donate their time and talent helping in the administrative offices, on special projects or assist at fundraising events.

The goal of Green Life is to educate residents and businesses about environmental concerns that affect them and to empower them to make choices that will improve life for all residents. Volunteer opportunities will be shared on an as needed basis. Volunteers will be contacted with these opportunities based on the frequency, specific needs and details of incoming requests.

Work individually with one client at a time (mothers and fathers). Serve as a support person and friend to one client. Have fun with activities such as cooking a meal together, taking your client to an appointment, or going to the park. Some transportation assistance may be required.

Answer hotline calls and provide referrals, assist w/other shelter support as needed
