The Friends continually look for new and creative ways to raise funds to support Hackley Public Library. We welcome your ideas and your help on planning committees and during events. Examples might be a downtown Happy Hour, Ice Cream Social, etc.
Every 2nd and 4th Friday of each month 5:30 -8:00 pm. A place where women can find comfort through building relationships with other women and realizing their potential in Christ. Children are welcomed and encouraged to come. A staffed children’s program is provided. Includes dinner, praise & worship, and ministry & prayer time.
Every 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month 5:00 – 6:30 pm (Volunteers arrive by 4pm) A free meal and live music for anyone looking to be fed. This is how we meet new people from the neighborhood and begin to develop relationships with them.
Transportation drivers, meals on wheels drivers, visitors and shoppers, adult day volunteers, office helpers, benefit advisors, health and education, handyman, dining center helpers, entertainers

Staff a Friends membership table at library or Friends events, help prepare quarterly newsletters, assist with mailings, distribute event posters to community businesses, etc.
Volunteer at one of our facilities. Prepare Hope Totes for guests.
This event is a fun-filled day and it is an opportunity to minister to the community with dignity. We offer a variety of services to the community including: Haircuts, Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, Nurses, Hair Braiding, Doctor’s Assistance, Groceries & Personal Care Items.
Join us as we visit the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans to thank those that served our country and to spend quality time reminiscing and fellowshipping.
This committee is charged with the care of our assets including the buildings, costumes, props, equipment, and tools. The assets committee will keep an inventory of all items and repairs needed. This committee will acquire estimates for labor and materials needed and recommend repair priorities based on funds and partnerships available.
