CAT is in need of a person or committee to help organize events and campaigns to raise money and other kinds of donations (such as cat food/supplies).

CAT does a monthly food drive at one of the local pet stores on the first Saturday of each month from 10am-2pm, with three 2-hour volunteer shifts. This is a tabling event where we collect food or monetary donations and share information/answer questions about CAT that any store visitors may have.

CAT needs volunteers to listen to and process voicemails by entering them into our Request for Assistance spreadsheet log for processing. This can be done 100% remotely, and the expected time commitment is about one hour per week, with a total estimate of about 4-5 hours per month.

The Nature Connection is currently seeking new animals to “volunteer” with us at our therapeutic nature programs. If you live in Concord, MA or the surrounding towns (anywhere in Middlesex County would be considered) and have a small pet with therapeutic/educational potential, we would love to hear from you. We need volunteers to help us sort and prepare donated items for sale. Additonal duties may include moving inventory, setting up displays, assembling furniture, and pricing merchandise. Volunteers will work under the guidance of our store manager for this program.

Groups of student volunteers from local fraternities and sororities commit a day to handing out backpacks at our Back-to-School Health and Resource Fair. Corporations send teams, talent and resources to support our Christmas Care Exchange, from handing out toys to staffing an arts and crafts table.
