Program matches volunteers who want to help with those who need a helping hand. This may be reading to a vision impaired elderly lady, applying a coat of paint to a weather beaten home, cleaning out a an overgrown flower bed, running an errand for needed prescriptions, or sitting with a loved one to give…

Social media, website, graphic design, printing, passing out pamphlets and flyers, and even inviting people to VIP tours of the center!

From festivals to expos, we need extra hands to transport materials, set up, engage the public, tear down, and return materials. Many hands make light work–and happy vision casters!

Looking for input on programs and curriculum as well as exhibits and the general COG experience. Parents and teachers this is a great outlet for your wisdom and expertise!

From daily vacuuming and wiping tables, to weekly shelf dusting and regular toy sanitization, we would love assistance keeping the center sparkling and germ free!

For those interested in getting their hands in the dirt, volunteers assist with transplanting, harvesting, washing, & packing farm fresh produce. Volunteers go home with fresh produce as a thank you!

Group Volunteers participate in special events, or plan a shorter-term commitment in any MEND department. Orientation is not required.

Volunteers drive either the box truck or van to pick up food goods from a variety of manufacturers, agencies and churches; drivers are needed 7 days a week.
