Summer Camp, Help setting up summer stage, and tents – May, Garden help – moving small “art bricks” to the garden, weeding in June, and Lemonade Social – help serving lemonade, greeting guests.

Join a committee to help oversee what we do​. Committees include the MCA Board of Directors, Building Committee, Finance Committee, Development Committee, Outreach Committee, and the Governance Committee.

A crew of 9 pantry volunteers are tasked with checking in clients outside while clients stay in their cars, bagging groceries and bringing groceries out to clients’ cars. 9:15am – 12:30pm.

A crew of 4-5 inventory volunteers are tasked with unloading our food pick-up truck, re-stocking pantry shelves, fridges and freezers and maintaining general cleanliness of pantry. Heavy lifting is required. Noon-3pm.

As we are getting started, we need help in all areas, including fundraising, food distribution, outreach, etc.

Be a part of our amazing Volunteers, who are the heart of our two annual drives each year. Warm the Streets and Blessing Bags. Locations include: Inglewood, South Los Angeles, and Downtown LA.

We are always looking for passionate volunteers to join us at our events! From helping us paint courts to playing basketball in communities that need us the most.

This involves other kinds of gifts/currencies such as time, relationship, talent, truth, or gracious leadership. It could be preparing for, staffing during and after Kaleidoscope Institute events and so on. Another example is the opportunity to assist us with our Social Media presence.

Assist with set-up/break-down, check-in, ushering, children’s activities, and parking for dinners, concerts, festivals and other special events.
