We need supplies!! Be responsible for contacting individuals, businesses and corporations to secure much needed supplies for the pets we help.

Help us spread the word of our organization. Be responsible for locating local events and other community activities, where we can have a presence and share our mission.

During the COVID-19 crisis, this dedicated team has been filling 260+ bags with nutritious groceries weekly at our warehouse, then delivering food to nearly 500 seniors, immune-compromised individuals and financially distressed families throughout the greater Long Beach area. Vehicle required for deliveries, or just come to help pack and clean up.

Do you prefer volunteering behind the scenes to support nonprofit operations or community outreach? Please email us with your area of expertise, whether it is back office support such as filing, bookkeeping, organizing or cleaning, or communication-related activities, like social media, email campaigns, volunteer management, video production, or event tabling.

If you have a reliable vehicle and regular free time one day during the week Mon.–Fri., then inquire about our Pickup Team! You’ll collect bulk food donations at the same time and place(s) each week and transport them to various locations in Long Beach, such as senior residences, veteran communities, school campuses, sober living homes,…

Reach out to local restaurants and chains to see if they have fundraising options – these are often “events” created so that friends, family, and people in the community can visit a restaurant on a certain day and mention the fundraiser’s name. Then, a % of those purchases goes directly to us!

We are in HUGE need of kitten fosters during this time! Kitten season is around the here (March – October) – during this time, we get calls daily about litters who need rescuing and pulling from the euthanasia list, and we can’t do it without a massive pool of foster homes for them to go…

Collect water bottles from your home and your neighbors and bring them to a local recycling center (many can be found at grocery stores) and support us that way! This is a wonderful project for younger kids or even Girl Scout troops!
