Each year friends of Meeting Street organize and host events or programs that raise critical support for our annual fund. You’re limited only by your imagination! Meeting Street’s Development Team will provide you with the necessary support and guidance to make any event a fundraising success.
Volunteer staff positions are flexible so that they work with your busy schedule. You can even design your own position that highlights your unique skills and interests!
Work days can be arranged for your group that are both fun and tackle a ‘special project’ of the ReStore at the same time!
Volunteers are needed who could be on-call for pick-ups of donations on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays. You can select the day(s) that work best for you.

Stewardship volunteers do trail maintenance, help guide walks on our properties, and learn to monitor our conserved properties.
Volunteers at Skyfields help with engagement work, administrative tasks, large mailings, and help with general maintenance of our headquarters.
This includes making Christmas deliveries, selecting & wrapping Christmas gifts, assembling Christmas gift baskets, and preparing meals for volunteers.
Skills based volunteers are needed virtually to help with a variety of remote tasks including but not limited to, graphic design, photography, marketing, and bilingual translating.
This includes assisting with furniture pickups & deliveries (with our staff), cleaning furniture and appliances, repairing carpentry / light furniture, testing electrical items, sorting household items and linens, and assembling boxsprings (including cutting fabric & sewing).
