Social media, website, graphic design, printing, passing out pamphlets and flyers, and even inviting people to VIP tours of the center!

From daily vacuuming and wiping tables, to weekly shelf dusting and regular toy sanitization, we would love assistance keeping the center sparkling and germ free!

For those interested in getting their hands in the dirt, volunteers assist with transplanting, harvesting, washing, & packing farm fresh produce. Volunteers go home with fresh produce as a thank you!

Group Volunteers participate in special events, or plan a shorter-term commitment in any MEND department. Orientation is not required.

Short Term Volunteers participate in special events, or plan a shorter-term commitment of less than 3 months in any MEND department. Orientation is not required. *Minors 13-17 years old need to be accompanied by an adult to volunteer.

Phoenix volunteers can serve as event supporters. Supporters serve in a variety of capacities, such as helping with event set-up and breakdown, welcoming and registering event attendees, promoting events throughout the community, and helping to bring the Phoenix to new communities.

Greet visitors, answer questions, explain our adoption process and keep animals comfortable. Coordinate food to be served to people at various events and fundraisers. Drive dogs or cats to and from events.

Volunteers assist clients in selecting items while shopping in The Pantry using recommended dietary suggestions and based upon family size.
