Make blankets or other comfort items for our Care Packs
The other area in which we need help is in fundraising, particularly in gathering prizes for our two annual fund-raisers: our Bowling Event in the spring, and our Online Auction in the fall.
Volunteers assist in the warehouse processing donated food or putting together bags or boxes of food. Ages 9+. Monday-Friday — 8:30-11:30am and/or 12:30-2:30pm.
Assist in planing and implementation of events. Solicit sponsors and donations. Provide coverage for events.
Misc. duties.
To support the senior services that promote healthy, independent, active and safe lifestyles, as well as increase volunteer opportunities for education and advocacy by and for elders.
Light paperwork. Assist public either via phone or in-person. Assist public in meeting and interacting with cats. Requires 2-4 weeks of general volunteering work.
