To engage supporters, partners, volunteers and donors in the work of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts. Social media volunteers can sign up for disaster cycle services shifts or work independently. Time commitment is flexible but requires a minimum of four shifts per month.

Perform reception, computer data support and other activities at the American Red Cross office. Shifts are four hours and volunteers are asked to commit to 1-2 shifts per week.

Volunteering with The Front Porch is a 4-5 hour commitment and includes tasks such as helping to set up and break down the event, pouring drinks, and working the box office.

Assist with thanking our donors through acknowledgement letters, thank you phone calls, and other stewardship materials. Not only will you be helping the American Red Cross carry out its mission, but you will also gain professional fundraising experience with a well-recognized and respected international organization.

The hard work of these individuals brings in needed funding, operates a busy administrative office, and supports the logistical needs of a complex organization. Volunteering opportunities for support members can be tailored to your interests, abilities, and schedule.

Transport blood from collection site to Red Cross laboratory. Must have a valid state driver’s license, 3 years driving experience, and a safe driving record.

Lead assistant coaches organize and lead other volunteers in the delivery of life skills, golf skills, class set up, and procedures. They ensure that programming and activities are consistent with The First Tee Life Skills Experience.

Volunteers that help with special events assist staff with fundraising events throughout the year. Support is needed with event planning, production, and follow up.
